FREELOK Clamping System

The MX Series utilizes the innovative FREELOK Clamping System (U.S. Patent No. 9,389,043 B1). This system incorporates a non-indexing barrel nut and free-floating clamping tabs designed to securely lock the handguard to the receiver.

FREELOK combines both frictional and mechanical locking forces, creating a strong, rock-solid bond between the rail and barrel nut while maintaining the benefits of a free-floating handguard design.
