These extended pins make it easier to break down the weapon because they give your fingers greater purchase to pull them out. They don't get in the way and don't seem to snag on anything either. I've never regretted using them. These pins were cheaper than all the others I looked at, especially considering you get the detent springs and detents which other companies don't include. Very fast shipping, as good as it gets!.
