Excellent Extended Pins!!

These extended pins make taking your lower down, or off so much easier than the original ones that are completely flat. No more breaking your fingernails off pulling out the flat pins. My only suggestion would be a little bit of knurling on the head of the pins, but that is really not so much of a deal. Very nice extended pins at an even better price!! Yes, these pins were the lowest priced extended pins on the internet. I think they knocked the ball out of the park, and they were shipped very fast!

The metal isn't that great. This are pretty tough to slide in and out of my Aero lower. I oiled them real well. I also slid them in/pulled them out about 50 times to "break them in". The black is now showing through to shiny metal underneath. And they're easier to push in/pull out now. You get what you pay for. These do the job but I wish I'd have spent more for a better quality metal or something that was smoother.

The pins themselves are a good fit. They are a bit hard to pull even when lubed. I replaced the provided springs with the original detent springs and saw an improvement. You will have to experiment with the spring tension that works best for you. I will be swapping out the actual detent next and see if that further improves the sticky pin issue. Other wise I recommend the pins as a nice inexpensive upgrade.
